It is important in high-speed digital applications to decrease the form factor and increase signal density by reducing isolating metal layers, all while preserving comparable crosstalk, loss and dispersion at the frequency of interest. This paper takes a look at how you can do that by showing how coplanar waveguide with smaller form-factor outperforms stripline in isolation and coupling.
Silicon Labs has introduced a comprehensive portfolio of timing solutions that provide jitter performance to meet the latest generation PCI Express® (PCIe) 5.0 specification with significant design margin.
Introspect Technology, released its SV4D Direct Attach MIPI Test Module. The SV4D is a high-performance, compact test module that enables at-speed production testing for MIPI® Alliance C-PHY℠ or D-PHY℠ transmitter or receiver interfaces.

This webcast presented by Ransom Stephens, discusses using the Signal to noise and dispersion ratio measurement as a lab to understand not only SNDR, but the important quantities that go into it and many other measurements: pulse response and how it relates to features of interconnects like transfer functions and impulse response as well as ISI (inter-symbol interference); waveform fitting, fit deviations, and signal distortion; and measurement of the steady state voltage and pulse peak. In the process, you'll see exactly how SNDR compares electrical signal strength to the combination of random noise and harmonic distortion. View the on-demand presentation to learn more.
