The new 0.8 mm, 50Ω termination supports ultra-broadband test and measurement applications.
HYPERLABS has expanded its 0.8 mm, 145 GHz component series with the introduction of the HL8818 Broadband 50Ω Termination. Designed for next-generation high-frequency test and measurement environments, the HL8818 provides a matched 50Ω load from DC to 145 GHz. The termination is designed for use on unused or unterminated ports, helping reduce unwanted signal reflections that can affect measurement accuracy at increasingly high frequencies.
The HL8818 joins HYPERLABS’ growing series of 0.8 mm components engineered to extend usable bandwidth to 145 GHz. The product line addresses increasing bandwidth requirements across high-speed digital, signal integrity, RF, mmWave, semiconductor, and advanced research applications as engineers characterize devices and interconnects beyond traditional 110 GHz measurement limits.
As data rates and measurement bandwidths continue to increase, every component in the test path becomes more critical. Broadband terminations provide a matched load for unused ports, helping engineers maintain signal integrity and minimize measurement artifacts in complex high-frequency test configurations.
The HL8818 complements HYPERLABS’ existing 145 GHz attenuators, DC blocks, and balun, providing engineers with additional building blocks for ultra-broadband test configurations using the emerging 0.8 mm connector interface.
HYPERLABS was the first manufacturer to introduce a series of 0.8 mm components operating to 145 GHz, extending its long-standing focus on ultra-broadband components for advanced test and measurement applications.
The HL8818 Broadband 50Ω Termination is available now. For specifications, pricing, quotes, or application support, visit the HYPERLABS 145 GHz product series page or contact [email protected].
