The EMV in Stuttgart once again proved itself to be a significant platform for the field of electromagnetic compatibility. The event, which took place from 19 – 21 March 2019, showcased a broad spectrum of product and services at the exhibition, and presented current expert knowledge in the workshops.

On more than 4,200 square meters a total of 121 exhibitors showcased their products and services. This year, 2,779 trade visitors gained information on the latest developments in the areas of EMC labs, measurement and test systems, simulation software as well as high-frequency technology.

Those requiring an overview of the innovations on show was able to find out more at the exhibition forum. The 20-minute product presentations held by exhibitors as well as the compact seminars were accessible to all visitors and workshop participants.

At the same time as the exhibition, 40 workshop with 1,043 bookings in total, took place. The workshops served as an individual further training platform offering participants a varied and high-caliber program. The following workshops were of particular interest:

  • EMC knowledge for beginners and career-changers, Professor Matthias Richter, University of Applied Sciences Zwickau
  • Provisions for measurement inaccuracies for immunity tests, Dr. Bernd Jäkel, Siemens AG  
  • Electromagnetics and Compatibility Made Simple - Part 2:  Power Distribution Design on Printed Circuit Boards, Mark Montrose, Montrose Compliance Serv., Inc.         

The next EMV – International Exhibition with Workshops on Electromagnetic Compatibility – will take place from 17 – 19 March 2020 in Cologne for the first time.
