Signal Microwave is excited to announce a new line of edge launch and top launch connectors using titanium, specifically Ti-6Al-4V alloy, for non-magnetic applications. Typical commercial connectors use stainless steel or brass housings which are magnetic materials. For these connectors, we have replaced the stainless steel with titanium for the connector housings. The center conductors are un-plated beryllium copper. Titanium and beryllium copper are both non-magnetic. Potential applications are cryogenic environments, superconducting, low PIM, quantum computing, quantum sensing, MRI, and others. These new connectors are currently available with a 2.92mm interface (40 GHz bandwidth).
