Signal Integrity Journal Webinar Series

Title: Improving S-Parameter Measurement Accuracy

Date: April 30, 2024

Time: 8am PT / 11am ET

Sponsored by: Maury Microwave and Test Equity

Presented by: Giampiero Esposito, Customer Success Team Director, Maury Microwave Corporation

Abstract:
S-parameter measurement accuracy is crucial for precise characterization of electronic devices, ensuring reliable performance in high-frequency applications. Accurate S-parameter data enables engineers to design and optimize circuits with confidence, minimizing signal loss and maximizing efficiency in communication systems and other electronic components.

In this webinar, participants will learn how the instrumentation used, the type of calibration performed, as well as the individual components used in a measurement system impact S-parameter measurement accuracy. Furthermore, participants will learn useful tips, tricks and best practices that will help improve measurement accuracy. Finally, participants will learn how to overcome measurement inconsistencies using the principles of uncertainty and maximize confidence in their S-parameter measurements.

This webinar is being cohosted by Maury Microwave and Test Equity.

Presenter Bio:
