PCIe Gen4 enables a new wave of innovation to guide inner-loop SerDes optimization assisted by outer-loop system optimization. This paper introduces an outer-layer equalization scheme for managing SerDes inner-layer equalization to optimize overall system-level aggregate performance.
Teledyne LeCroy announced it has released the world’s first high-definition arbitrary waveform generators (AWGs). The dual-channel AWGs are branded T3AWG3252 (250 MHz) and T3AWG3352 (350 MHz) and offer 16 bits of vertical voltage resolution, an output voltage window of up to ±24 V, and waveform memory of up to 1 GS/channel.
The new power supply series consists of the R&S NGE102B with two channels and the R&S NGE103B with three channels. They are suitable for various applications in education and production as well as in R&D labs. With these new features, Rohde & Schwarz is addressing the educational sector.
This article presents the design workflow of a removable EBG-based CM filter component suitable to be applied on a PCIe bus, using CST Studio Suite to show the effectiveness of the implemented EBG CM filter through frequency and time-domain results. Download the whitepaper to learn more.
As part of its technical program, EDI CON USA 2018 presents its Outstanding Paper Awards. The papers are judged for technical merit by the EDI CON USA Technical Advisory Committee, and the winners and finalists are celebrated in a ceremony at the event. Congratulations to the winners!
High-speed designers who need to design test fixtures as well as backplane designers working on 10-32Gb/s NRZ to 112G PAM-4 can benefit from adopting high-confidence design methodologies when using 3D full-wave solvers. This webinar aims to help you build better test, characterization, and backplane systems, by improving understanding and avoiding the common pitfalls. Learn more and register today.
In this video, we will show you how to use basic signal integrity (SI) analyses such as eye diagrams, S-parameters, TDR and single pulse response to solve signal integrity problems. The video links you to an example ADS workspace already set up with the essential SI simulations. Watch now.
